Making a positive difference

What is Home Share?

Would you like to make a difference in someone’s life? Here is an opportunity to provide an enriching environment for a mentally ill adult in your home.

The needs of these patients vary, but the rewards of working with them are gratifying. You will receive ongoing training and the support of a professional staff as well as a stipend.

Homeshare is a uniquely designed Adult Foster Care Program sponsored by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. This program is designed to assist individuals with psychiatric disabilities that may experience frequent hospitalization, transition to a loving home and become fully participating members of their communities.

Participants will receive a monthly stipend, ongoing support from professional clinical
staff, full orientation, ongoing training and Respite support. If you’re interested in making a positive difference in someone’s life please contact Beckman’s Community Support Coordinator using the information provided below.
